Varicella-Zoster Antibody, IgG and IgM - VZGM

This assay detects IgG and IgM antibodies against the varicella-zoster virus (VZV) to evaluate both past exposure/immunity (IgG) and recent or acute infection (IgM).

It is particularly useful for assessing immunity in individuals such as healthcare workers, pregnant women, or anyone unsure of their vaccination or infection history — and for diagnosing suspected recent VZV infection (e.g., chickenpox or shingles).
