Glucose, Random - GLURA

A random (non-fasting) glucose test measures the amount of sugar (glucose) in your blood at any time of day, regardless of when you last ate.

This test helps screen for diabetes or hyperglycemia, particularly when you have symptoms like increased thirst, frequent urination, or fatigue. A random glucose level of ≥ 200 mg/dL is often considered suggestive of diabetes and may prompt further diagnostic testing.
